The lower throttle cable must have the correct free-length to properly operate the carburetor slide within its full range of movement.
Genuine Barnett lower cable is nylon lined for smooth operation and is made in the US. Overall length is 14.5″ with 3.5″ of free length.
The lower throttle cable is part of a system comprised of a specific single upper cable from the twist-grip to a junction block that splits into (2) lower cables.
The upper cable adjuster must be fully collapsed to allow sufficient free-length to open the junction block to withdraw the upper cable. Once the upper cable is removed, the internal cable splitter can be accessed for lower cable removal and replacement.
