Once upon a time, a hideous green crud crept across the American Northwest. Although many came to love the horrible monster, others mourned the loss of the colorful independent railroads lost in its wake. The mourners gathered in small groups singing "It's not easy BN green" and vowing to preserve the memory of CB&Q, GN NP and SP&S. This set was issued in July 1996 to help them in their quest. (Viva la resistance!)
