The dolls in this collection come in a variety of outfits and hair textures. This particular doll comes in blue multi-colored pants and a white top, similar to styles worn in African countries, with straight black hair, jewelry, and pink heels.

As a child, I found myself under- and misrepresented in the toy aisle. The only dolls that were supposed to look like me came in strange shades grayish blues. In my adulthood, I want to combat the feeling of otherness for all children and show them that it is beautiful to EMBRACE THE BLACK AFRICAN HERITAGE.
