Gently Stirred
Loose Leaf Tea
Rose Pouchong Black Tea
This
tastes exactly as one would imagine it to do. Probably best without milk but
certainly drinkable with, maybe even a small slice of sweet orange.
It
has a natural sweetness and would appeal to ‘Turkish Delight’ lovers. If you
have enjoyed this tea, try our 'Blue Lady', which uses this as its base.
The
word Pouchong literally means ‘the wrapped kind’, from the Chinese
‘pau-ching-tê’, and refers to the practice of wrapping the leaves in paper
during the drying process, now largely discontinued due to advances in tea
production.
