This is a brand new embroidered patch. It measures 2 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. The quality and detail is very good. It looks better than the picture. This patch has a heat activated adhesive on the back and can be ironed on. I always suggest sewing patches if you want them to be permanent.
