You are buying a working, reconditioned, vintage BOC Sparklets soda syphon. 

 

We have inspected, examined, cleaned and tested each component, and as part of our commitment to sustainablity, we have replaced only those parts which are required for it to function correctly, such as all the rubber seals. We have then completely sterilised and pressure tested it one last time, to rule out any possibility of leaks. It is completely ready to use and is guaranteed to last for at least 6 months.

This 'Ruby Red' colour BOC Sparklets "Globemaster" was marketed between roughly 1960 - 1980. The benefit of this soda syphon was that it was double the volume of the other syphons in the Sparklets range, taking two CO2 bulbs to fully pressurise it.  The edge of the paint on the base is slightly chipped (see pictures), but this is barely visible when standing due to the overhang of the large globular body. There are also a few small scratches on the shoulder and the paint has paled on one side, perhaps due to sun damage.  The plastic of the head is in good condition and the chrome is very good, with no visible white spots on its surface.  It is supplied with an original plastic neck sleeve, a replacement new dip tube and neck seal and a modern plastic CO2 capsule key.  The base is stamped with serial number SE/W/Q.  (Job No. 22)

What to do next

 

Once you have ordered your syphon from us,  you will need to order some standard 8g CO2 capsules from another seller (we recommend Pro Fizz)  As soon as you have your syphon and capsules, you’re good to go. 

 

We include in the box a colour photocopy of an original set of Sparklets Soda Syphon instructions and a FAQs sheet to help you get the best from your newly acquired Soda Syphon.
