Robert Charles Francis (1930 – 1955) was an American actor. He appeared in only four Hollywood films, all with military themes, before his career and life were cut short at the age of 25 in the crash of a small airplane he was piloting. He made his film debut in The Caine Mutiny (1954) starring Humphrey Bogart. He was one of Screen World's "Promising Personalities of 1954". At the time of his death, he had been chosen to co-star with James Cagney in Tribute To A Bad Man. The part went to Don Dubbins.

The Bamboo Prison (1954), working title: I was a Prisoner in Korea was Robert Francis' third film and second film in a lead role.
