Item Description
Miniature Book of Psalms together with I.M. Lask's The Bible in Pictures
Brown cloth with gilt title on the spine of The Bible in Pictures; the Book of Psalms has no lettering visible, though the front cover may have contained a title under the wood addition.
These are two small books from the same publisher, Sinai of Tel Aviv, Israel.
The Book of Psalms was published in miniature in 1959 and measures 2.5 X 3.25 inches.
The Bible in Pictures, with 125 illustrations by J. Schnor (Julius Schnorr von Carolsfeld, 1794-1872), a bit larger, was published in 1969 and measures 4.5 X 4.25 inches.
The cloth covers on both books have been enhanced with an artistic wood addition in a similar pattern. A beautiful little set.
