Publication Condition & Grading: We use the industry standard appraising of our books and magazines. Condition notes are shown above.

  • Factory Sealed: Brand new in original packaging. Unopened and unused.
  • New/As New : Same as factory sealed without any shrink wrap or other packaging. The publication is new, unread, unused as one would expect to find in a new book store.
  • Fine: Describes a book or dust jacket that is not quite as crisp as an AN book. Many new books sold in large Shrink Wrap are in Fine condition and not As New because the books have been out on the shelves and have been picked up and handled by prospective buyers.
  • Very Good: Describes a book/publication that shows some small signs of wear/light use, but no tears on either binding or paper.
  • Good:  An average used book that has all pages/leaves present. May not have dust jacket. May also have light writing, dogeared pages, etc.
  • Acceptable (E-bay category):Publication has seen some obvious use. Our publications in this category are complete unless stated otherwise.
  • Collectible: This item is sought after for collections either because of age or subject. Low print-run publications fall into this category.
