VISUAL DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM (VDS)

With 20+ years of experience under our belt it is no wonder that Hydro-Quip is the first in bringing the next evolutionary step in spa equipment to the masses, the “Visual Diagnostic System” or “VDS”. VDS is the industries first truly user friendly system to aid a servicing technician or even the spa owner in the diagnosis of equipment related issues.

The most commonly used tool in the trouble-shooting process is a voltage meter. With a VDS equipped equipment system it is like getting a voltage meter with every control. Now every spa and/or control system sold is equipped with this important tool by default providing you and your customer the advantage in the unlikely event of a problem.


1. External Fuse Indicators: We have integrated circuit specific indicator lights for each of the major component circuits. This allows for “at-a-glance” confirmation of the circuit fuses without pulling out a voltage meter or even opening the control box.

 

2. HQ “Smart-Cords”: Lit component cords take common question, “Is there power going to the…?” out of the equation. Now with a simple glance at the corresponding cord anyone is able to determine if voltage is being supplied to a questionable device, again there is no need to open the control box.

 

How is this of benefit to me and/or my customers? By combining external indicator lights for each system/component fuse with our exclusive lighted component cords. Hydro-Quip is able to deliver a control system that can be trouble-shot by even the most inexperienced individual.
