rare French folder: "Ferronnerie
Moderne" (Modern Ironwork), Nouvelle Serie Editions D' Art Charles Moreau by Henri Clouzot - 32 Plates (1 missing - you receive 31 plates) in this undated folio edition
Henri Clouzot compiled photographs of great ironwork by acclaimed designers of
the Art Deco period. Artists included are: Brandt, Subes, Edouard and Marcel
Schenck, Perret, Piguet and Schwartz-Hautmont, and others. Designs include
banisters, gates, grills, tables, doors, lamps, and decor.
The boards are in poor condition with edgewear, bumped corners, wear
to spine ends and rubbing.
As seen in photo #2 the internal part of the cover is in very poor shape.
The 31 loose plates are pretty clean with minor wear and
bit of yellowing and at edges and minimal stains.
Plate #7 is missing

Size: The portfolio is 17 1/2" (44.5 cm) x 12 3/4" (32.5 cm) approximately
when closed.
Condition:
Condition is not the best as observed. The folder is damaged here and there as
seen in the photos provided.
The boards / folder is in poor condition with edgewear, bumped corners, wear
to spine ends and rubbing.
As seen in photo #2 the internal part of the cover is in very poor shape.
The 31 loose plates are pretty clean with minor wear and
bit of yellowing and at edges and minimal stains.
Everything is loose/detached. I believe originally there was a ribbon to tie the folder but this is now missing.
This item was stored for almost a century so please expect signs of age
everywhere.
Foxing, yellowish stains and even dust will be found here and there.
