iRangeX IRX4 2.4GHz 4-in-1 STM32 Multiprotocol TX Module for OpenTX Radios
If you have been in this hobby for a while, you will likely have amassed quite a collection of RC models and not necessarily all of them bound to the same radio control,
so probably a collection of them too. That's where this multiprotocol TX module will come in handy.

It incorporates four RF chips into one transmitter module and supports pretty much all of the communication protocols used in the RC hobby so that you can control everything from
a single radio; from toy grade Syma models to FrSky racing drones or Spektrum BNF aircraft.

The module is designed to work with transmitters that operate with OpenTX 2.2.X, so all FrSky transmitters and other brands too. OpenTX 2.2.X has special support for the
iRangeX IRX4 that allows the protocols to be easily selected from the transmitter SETUP menu or Companion.

This particular Multiprotocol Module features a STEM32 microcontroller (MCU),  which has enough on-board storage space to store all of the protocols you need  without having to re-flash it.

Supported Protocols:
Flysky (Generation I protocol, based on A7105, tested)
Hubsan (Based on A7105, tested)
Frsky (Based on CC2500, tested)
Hisky (Based on 24L01, tested)
V2x2 (Based on 24L01)
DSM2 / DSMX (Based on CYRF6936, tested)
Devo (Based on CYRF6936, tested)
YD717 (Based on 24L01)
KN (V977,Based on 24L01, tested)
SymaX (Based on 24L01)
SLT (Based on 24L01)
CX10 (Based on 24L01)
CG-023
BAYANG
SIMAX5C

Note:
The above protocols are from open source projects based on the remote control Walkera DEVIATION.  The the original author has tested almost all protocols, but not all. Untested  protocols do not rule them out as not supported but there may be a problem with program configuration. Open source protocol is constantly updated but inevitably there are omissions.  Including but not limited to the following issues: - Part program version DSM2  have protocol compatibility problems. - Some receiver (original AR600) need to  rebind per use, Spektrum integrated receiver frame rate is a bit  slow. But please review the github link further down the page as the firmware is regularly updated to fix problems.

Compatible Transmitters:
Frsky: All the frsky transmitters
TBS: Tango
Futaba: Futaba S-FHSS transmitters
Flysky: TH9X (Note: The plastic base on the transmitter needs to be removed to fit this module)
Turnigy: 9XR,9XR Pro
Others: Transmitters running Open TX Firmware with a 5-Pin Module Bay

Setup:
Ensure radio is flashed with OpenTX version 2.2.X
Install module into transmitter’s external module bay
Set default Channel Order (Radio Setup Menu) to AETR
In the Setup Menu, disable Internal RF “OFF” and Enable External RF
For the External RF Mode select “Multi” then select the required Protocol to match your model
Enable Auto Bind for supported models
