This beautiful vintage sterling ethnic bracelet features a wide filigree
clasp with 6 chains. The chains are made of individual linked filigree
elements. The clasp is a classic tube and pin. The origin of the
bracelet is unknown but the style is reminiscent of the tribal Berber
jewels of Northern Africa, Morocco and Algeria.
Measurements: 7-1/4” long. The decorative centerpiece/clasp is 1-3/4” x 7/8” across the widest end.
Weight: 43.2 grams.
The bracelet appears to be unmarked but it has been tested for purity and it is sterling silver.
Condition:
each filigree link in the chain has 4 loops that attach with rings to
the next link, there are 8 loops missing from 7 links (1 loop missing
from 6 links and 2 missing from another); the bracelet has not been
polished and shows quite a bit of tarnish.
