The zipper is an advantage in that you can zip down the sides rather than just across the top - this makes it easy to see items inside and get to them without stretching out your purse.

This is a unique satchel in that you can open the MK lock, then close it over the zipper after you place the slot over the the metal locking mechanism.  The fob within the leather hang-down is the key. This allows you to lock either the pocket or the purse.  If you really want security, take the hang-down fob with you.

You'll like the rolled hand straps.  This purse is unique in so many ways.
