1960s high school yearbook featuring students and faculty, activities and sports, candids, shots of the school and surrounding, and including photos and mentions of freshman three-sport athlete and future Major League Baseball great George Brett, who appears in class, football, basketball, and baseball pictures. His older brother Bob who also played pro baseball is pictured in the senior class. Great photos and period design.

George Brett played his enitre career of 21 years for the Kansas City Royals. His 3,154 career hits are the most by any third baseman in major league history and 16th all-time. He is one of four players in MLB history to accumulate 3,000 hits, 300 home runs, and a career .300 batting average (along with Hank Aaron, Willie Mays, Stan Musial and Albert Pujols), and is the only player in MLB history to win a batting title in three different decades. He was a 13-time All-Star selection, won 3 Silver Slugger awards, The Golden Glove, and league MVP. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1999.

Very Good to Excellent condition hardback with tight binding and text and clean pages and no must or mildew or missing pieces, with mild shelf wear. Clean and Solid.

Great rarity giving a great look into the early life and times of one of the game's greats.
