Condition Continued: There are no attachments. And with the exception of the author's signed inscription, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. Finally, and importantly, the book is very solidly bound, no cracks or spaces anywhere, and nicely tight pages.

Winston Coleman, Jr., on the first front end paper. Also included with this sale are 1) a typed and signed letter to the inscribee, Jack L. Adams, who was born in Mount Vernon, Kentucky (and later in his life moved to a town near to me), 2) three signed postcards to Mr. Adams, and 3) a reprinted copy of an article from The Courier Journal of Louisville Kentucky Dated January 2, 1955. The article is titled 'The Squire of Winburn Farm', referring to J. Winston Coleman, Jr. There are also two 8 by 3" flyers with William P. Welsh's  portrait of Mr. Coleman on the front and a short biography of the 'Bluegrass Historian And Author' on the back. Finally, there are three stamped envelopes from Mr. Coleman to Mr. Adams, dated 1956, 1957, at 1958.
