This amazing Vintage Reproduction Cast Iron Hometown Battery Baseball Mechanical Bank is 7" tall, 9¼" wide and 2½" deep.  Based on the original  Dark Town Battery mechanical bank c1888 by the J. & E. Stevens Company of Cromwell, Connecticut.  In good working order.  Please reference photographs for condition of paint loss.

This bank is a 50's reproduction of a turn of the century mechanical bank titled Dark Town Battery. This one is titled Hometown Battery. It is made of cast iron. The same process was used to make this Authentic Reproduction as the original was made.  Molds were made from the original Bank, hand cast in sand,  then hand assembled and painted.
