How to test accuracy?

1.  1.        Put the indicator on the 60° surface of live center  such as the picture shows
2.       Gently and smoothly turn the top by hand
3.       Read the indicator, get the accuracy

Product features

  • The live center has a combination of needle roller bearing, P5 class ball thrust bearing, and deep groove ball bearing from NSK bearing from Japan
 
  
 
  • Adjustable Needle roller bearing carry all radial loads while heavy duty ball thrust bearing carry all axial loads
  • With external shrink sleeve on the needle roller bearing, the clearance of the needle roller bearing can be adjusted to improve the precision and service life of the live center
  • Lubricant can be added into the live center body to maintain lubrication on the bearing

  • Extra long Spindle point extends into deep groove ball bearing supported shank to effectively improve rotating performance and reduce vibration
  • The 60 rotating spindle is made from bearing steel with heat treated to HRc 60+/-2 for high rigidity and wear resistance
  • Built-in oil seal protects bearing against ingress of coolant, dirt and swarf
