The original English Woods carving selection box now available in three convenient sizes. Very popular with new and experienced wood carvers.

All pieces are carefully & individually selected by hand - Only good quality blanks (why not check our feedback)

The different species are labeled - No confusion 

Presented in a plain brown box - Perfect as a gift

Air dried - Less stressed timber and ready to carve.  Better for carving than kiln dried.

Blanks will be in the following size range:

Minimum width - 25mm (1")

Minimum thickness - 50mm (2")

Minimum length - 75mm (3")

Maximum length - 300mm (12") 


The pictures show representative sample of the sizes and shapes of the blanks in each box although no two boxes are likely to be the same.  Blanks are air dried and ready to carve.

We always dispatch orders within 1 working day but we do our absolute best to process your order as soon as it's paid for. If that's before breakfast, it could well get dispatched that same morning! Please e-mail with any questions or for overseas postage costs.

We have been involved with sawing and selling English hardwood for over 25 years and trading on eBay since 2010. We are based in Devon and our timber is sourced locally whenever possible.
