You are purchasing a USA made reproduction top front crash bar mounting hardware kit for your 1958 to 1969 Harley-Davidson Panhead or Shovelhead.  This is used to mount the top tab on the 49037-58A and 49038-58A style front crash bar on 1958 to 1969.  Early 1958 models used a crash bar with the same upper mounting plate as 1936-1947 and 1955-1957 models.  This is for crash bars with a single mounting hole at the top.  3996 bolt is a cold-head stamped Chandler Products CP-1038 bolt.   All parts are cadmium plated.   

We also sell a kit which includes the lower right special mounting bolt and washers if you need that.

There seems to be some misinformation on CP bolts and "reproductions".  Chandler Products has always been willing to produce these bolts with large minimum quantity orders. There's either early production or current production. They changed head dies as they wore out and had multiple dies.  Nuts are USA made using the same process Harley used when they operated their own screw and nut equipment with the flat lands on them.  Spacers and washers are produced just like the ones H-D did back in the day.  Parkerizing and cad plating is same finish as how these came from the factory in the 1950's.  I've also got quite a bit of other hardware kits listed in my store under "pre 1980's hardware".
