Finn Moto hoodies are a fitted yet very comfortable, made as advertised, materials are sent to independent companies such as Satra UK to ensure the products meet a minimum protection level – level 1 impact abrasion with the use of 330gsm knitted kevlar. All other materials/treatments/stitching is done to our own vigorous standard. Alot cheaper hoodies entering the market look tempting. Cheaper items are usually cheap for a reason; one point is compromising on protection by using 180gsm interlock kevlar lined hoodies which costs alot less to manufacture and has nowhere near the same protection level as 330gsm knitted Kevlar. We're giving away our manufacturing secrets to ensure motorcyclist make an informed purchase decisions; its questionable to see some brands choose to not disclose the very important information to help you the rider determine the right protection & price for you. If brands offering Kevlar lined hoodies choose to not advertise the specification eg: kevlar weave (knitted, woven, interlock) and weight (180gsm 200gsm, 250gsm etc) its more than likely been made on the cheap using 180gsm interlock kevlar which has 50% less protection than 300gsm knitted kevlar. To ensure the jacket fits you perfectly we recommend measuring your actual chest and match it up with the above. (measurements are in inch's) Dont have a dress tape measure? (use rope or power cord then measure point to point) Fitting for XS to XL, if your Tshirt size is Large. Your chest should measure 42inch. To double check how the large jacket will fit can grab a fitted yet comfortable jacket and measure across the chest under arm sleeves, it should be 24inch Fitting for 2xl or higher, please measure your chest and match it up. If your stomach is equal or larger than your chest measurement its best to go up one size. For example Chest 50inch, Stomach 50inch you will be size 5xl Tall customers: The jacket is cut quite long in the torso for good coverage, if slim and tall you may get away with your true size.
