For sale is 12V DC to DC step down power module with a heatsink attached. The output is regulated 12V and current can be as high as 1.5A. The module is driven by a high efficiency switching IC LM2596 that generates much less heat than the 78xx series regular IC. The output is very stable.

This is a high efficiency switching mode12v regulator with heat sink attached.  It doesn't generate heat as much as the 78xx series regulator. It is perfect fit for all vehicles, boats, and bikes with 12V~24V electric system. Of course it works great for the solar system.

Note: The lower input is 12.6V to get stable 12V output. If input voltage is less than 12V, the output of "12V" will become a voltage follower and output is proportional to the input.
