This chain maille bracelet is done in the 1-3 half Persian chain maille weave. The bracelet is 3/8" (.95cm) wide and is 7.75" (19.7cm) long, sized for 7.5" (19.1) wrist. This beautiful copper bracelet is made from solid copper wire and makes this bracelet easily affordable. The clasp is handmade and each one has small variations from the next. The jump rings used to make this bracelet were handmade by Need For Beads. This piece is handcrafted by Gail Devoid.

As you probably know, copper tarnishes easily. Some like that antique look, but some of us like the copper bright. We keep our copper jewelry bright by tumbling it with whole grain rice for 30 minutes. The rice comes out of the tumbler black, but the copper is shiny clean.

If you don't have a tumbler, there is another method that will clean your necklace, although it will take longer: Boil your necklace in a pot of water with 1 tablespoon salt and 1 cup white vinegar for several hours. Wash with soap in hot water. Rinse and dry.
