Monitors and screens differ widely
- my screen shows this to be a decent, faithful representaion of the
shade and was photographed in daylight. Despite the slight differences
between the shades Black & Rose-Carmine and Black & Carmine,
perf 14 can only be Black & Rose-Carmine.

The stamp has a light mark on the reverse where it was once hinged - but no thins, tears or toning.
I have
had a quick look around ebay and the price for this stamp (same shade, hinged mint, perf and variety) appears to range from about £69
to £100 and not
all are this decent!
BEWARE though! This flaw on the Black & Carmine shade, the more expensive stamp, cannot also be perf 14. I have spotted a few on-line!
Also, have you noticed how many sellers never show the
reverse of the stamps - no idea why as it forms part of the decision making
process regarding condition as well as watermark identification. As a collector,
I find this quite frustrating having to ask; many oblige, some don't. I always
try to show the reverse...warts and all!
A super example showing this rare variety.
- The gallery images are either photographs or scans of the actual item you will receive. No image has been enhanced or edited in any way.
- Quality and settings of screens vary widely which can affect image clarity and colour.
- I describe item/s exactly as they appear to me in person and only sell items that I would be thrilled to receive.

Returns
- If you receive an item that you consider improperly described, please contact me within 14 days to arrange return and refund.
- Buyer to pay return postage.Please post in the same way as sent (i.e. if sent "recorded with signature required", please return as "recorded with signature required"). Please obtain "proof of postage" where possible.
- Upon return, I will evaluate the item to ensure it is the actual item, also, that it is in the same condition as when sent.
