Elegant early 1930s black silk velvet evening gown featuring a softly draped neckline/bodice area, graceful flared sleeves with ivory Alençon lace cuffs, and an attached matching velvet floral appliqué corsage accented with metallic gold edging and thread-wrapped stems. Can be worn by many sizes as it's drop-waist/bodied sash in style yet conforms beautifully and is very figure-flattering. 

Remarkably preserved, with rich black velvet and lovely period detailing. The gown remains sturdy and wearable.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition for its age. A tiny mark on one lace cuff, concealed beneath the sleeve, and a small tear along the velvet sleeve edge (pictured). Otherwise beautifully preserved. As with all vintage and antique pieces... expect light to minimum wear... there may be an unseen pinhole or seam repair. Please see the photos for more details.
