Item Description

Up for sale is a vintage Revere Ware 12-inch skillet with its original matching stainless steel lid. This sought-after 2000 Line model features Revere’s heavy aluminum disc-bottom construction, designed to provide outstanding heat distribution while sitting flat on modern smooth-top glass, ceramic, and electric cooktops.

This skillet was proudly made in the USA at Revere’s Clinton, Illinois factory, as stamped on the bottom (Model Code: 12 in. 89 J).

Condition

This skillet is in excellent vintage condition. The pan and lid are structurally sound, and the cooking surface sits completely flat with no warping. The black Bakelite handle and lid knob are secure, glossy, and free of cracks.

As expected for a well-cared-for vintage piece, there are light surface swirls and minor utensil marks from normal use, but there is no heavy scorching, deep pitting, or damage. Please review all photos for the exact cosmetic condition.

Why This Version Stands Out

Unlike many vintage copper-clad Revere pans, this 2000 Line skillet features a thick aluminum disc base that promotes even heat distribution while helping the pan remain stable on modern flat-top ranges. The heavy base minimizes hot spots and makes it an excellent choice for everyday cooking, from breakfast favorites to family-sized meals.

A fantastic addition for collectors of American-made cookware or anyone looking for a quality vintage skillet that’s ready to use.
