WHY COLLECTORS WANT THIS ONE
Isaac Stern playing the Beethoven Violin Concerto in D with Leonard Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic - a classic Columbia Masterworks pairing of two of the biggest names in American classical music of the era. This recording was reissued several times over the years, so there are 6-eye originals, later 2-eye pressings and CBS "Great Performances" reissues; the label shown in the photos tells you which one this is. A 1959 6-eye stereo original is the one collectors chase, while the later reissues are common and inexpensive. This listing does not claim a particular pressing - please go by the label photo.
