WHY COLLECTORS WANT THIS ONE
M.O.R. is the James Last Orchestra doing what it did better than almost anyone in the 1970s: taking the pop songs that were on the radio at the time and rebuilding them as big, brass-and-strings instrumental arrangements with that unmistakable Last rhythm section underneath. The title is the trade abbreviation for middle-of-the-road, and the record delivers exactly that, played extremely well. Last was a Polydor institution in Europe and his American releases followed the same formula. This is a common record, and I have no completed sale for this particular title to point at, so the price is set off what his other US Polydor LPs bring - around five dollars - with a little room for the condition.
