Cyprus 1955 250 Mils Banknote - Queen Elizabeth II - Government of Cyprus P30.
I won't lie - I've had AI help to identify and list this as it's from my uncle's amateur collection!
Apparently this is a collectible item as it's quite scarce. It's a mid-century British Commonwealth colonial banknote: a 250 Mils note issued by the Government of Cyprus, dated 1st June 1955. This historically significant note features a beautiful early-reign portrait of a young Queen Elizabeth II on the right-hand side, with text written in English, Greek, and Turkish. The reverse side features the classic stylized dual-lion emblem of the British Government of Cyprus.
The note is in good condition for something that was obviously in circulation and use. It's completely intact with no tears or missing chunks. It has natural creasing from use in circulation and handling. Please check the photos to judge condition for yourself - I'm also happy to take more pictures or answer any questions you might have.
Will be shipped in protective packaging. Tracked and signed for delivery required due to value. International shipping via Ebay GSP
My uncle was an amateur collector and I'm selling a number of his items. Let me know if you want more information about the item or would like a different photograph (I've done my best but I don't have a professional set up!)
