EARLY PRODUCTION DETAILS

Serial number 04332 and the original dark wooden presentation box are consistent with early-production K1000 examples commonly referred to by collectors as the “bass-heavy” version.

This designation describes the bass-response differences associated with earlier and later production examples; it is not a separate official AKG model name. The classification is based on the serial number and box style, rather than acoustic measurements of this particular pair. The exact manufacturing year has not been verified.
