Snuggy Hoods - HEADLESS TURNOUT HOOD, Pull-On or ZIP
Please see drop down lists for available size/colour/fit combinations
The Snuggy Headless Turn Out Hood is perfect for keeping your horse as clean as possible and protecting their mane without covering the face. Neck, chest, shoulders & withers are covered and the hood can be used both in the field and stable under any stable or turn out rug.
The hood is fixed in place with an adjustable velcro belly band around the girth. Constructed of a fully breathable, robust, comfortable, machine washable fabric and lined with a seamless, shiny fabric through the mane and shoulder, the Headless Turn Out Hood is water repellent, mud proof and wind proof.
The Hood is elasticated, adjustable around the poll area and cut extra long so it sits securely behind the ears even when the neck is extended down fully to graze. The Hood comes in both a ‘pull on’ version (so is simply slipped over the nose and pulled back into position) or a Zip version.
Recommended for use with all Winter rugs, ideally without high or full neck as much as possible. It is suggested to only use rugs with necks on very wet or very cold days - the Headless Turn Out Hood is more than adequate protection for your horse or pony otherwise.
See the Snuggy Hoods site for more information.
