Second Class Postage (Please Read)

All of my items will be dispatched for next working day pickup whenever possible, however I have added 3 days handling time to better reflect unrealistic delivery estimates. Please allow for this extra time before messaging me or opening a case.

Due to recent changes in Royal Mail policy, please note that Standard 2nd Class post can take up to 3 to 5 working days, independent of automated estimates. I'm happy to offer 1st class postage for the difference in cost to 2nd class, please select this option if you need a faster delivery

Reasons for Delays:

New Delivery Schedules - 2nd class letters now run on an alternate weekday rotation (delivering every other weekday) and no longer arrive on Saturdays.

Parcel Priority: Sorting offices prioritize tracked parcels and 1st class items, meaning 2nd class letters are frequently held back or batched until staff have time.

Staff Shortages: High levels of sick absence and local resourcing issues have caused severe backlogs across numerous UK postcodes.

Expected Timeframes & Targets: Official Aim - Royal Mail aims to deliver 2nd class mail within 3 weekdays, with a new reliability safety net target of up to 5 weekdays.

Real-world Performance: Recent data shows only about 90% of 2nd class mail meets the 3-day target, leading to widespread complaints of multi-week delays.

Please note that the 'Tracking Number' provided by ebay is limited for 2nd Class Postage, this will only show you that the online postage label has been printed, then will only update again once delivered.
