Original vintage Soviet color portrait print of Joseph Stalin, depicting the Soviet leader in the ceremonial uniform of Generalissimo of the Soviet Union.

The portrait is attributed to Soviet artist B. N. Karpov, whose signature and the date 1946 appear in the lower right corner of the printed artwork.

Stalin is depicted wearing a gray military tunic with red and gold collar insignia, elaborate shoulder boards, and two Gold Star medals of Hero of the Soviet Union.

The portrait features finely rendered facial details, subtle coloring, and the formal presentation characteristic of Soviet political portraiture of the Stalin era.

Below the illustration is the original printed Russian inscription:

"Иосиф Виссарионович СТАЛИН" (Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin).

The print is believed to date from the late 1940s to early 1950s, possibly originating from a Soviet book or illustrated publication. The exact publication and printing date have not been established.
