Imperforate block of four vignettes for the 1st Salon International de l’Aviation depuis la Guerre, held in Paris in November 1946, commemorating the first England to France flight by the Nene jet aircraft with a demonstration over Paris. Each vignette shows the Eiffel Tower and an aircraft in blue, with the top pair upright and the bottom pair inverted to form a tête-bêche layout, all on a single piece of paper with a wide central gutter. Mint never hinged. A scarce multiple for collectors of aerophilately, jet aviation history, Paris and Cinderella stamps.
