Up for bid is an actual set of race worn jockey silks associated with arguably the world's most successful owner/breeders of thoroughbreds: JUDDMONTE. Winner also receives a signed COA documenting the absolute provenance of the silks, which I acquired directly from Encarnacion Sandoval, the director of the Colors Room at Santa Anita, Del Mar and Los Alamitos. Founded in 1983 by Prince Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, the short list of superstars that have raced in JUDDMONTE's colors include the likes of the immortal Frankel who twice was named World's Best Race Horse (2011, 2012), Arrogate who earned the same distinction as Frankel in 2016 and 2017, Eclipse Champions Elite Power, Flintshire, Beat Hollow, Close Hatches, and Intercontinental. Others include Cartier Horse of the Year Kingman, five time Grade 1 winner Idiomatic, six time Group 1 winner Midday, seven time Grade 1 winner Sightseek and Enable, one of the greatest turf horses in history who won eleven Grade 1/Group 1 races. In all, JUDDMONTE as an owner/breeder has won 11 Breeders' Cup races, a grand total of 18 Eclipse Awards (both organizationally and their race horses individually) and an astounding 274 Grade 1/Group 1 races. I can only imagine the plentiful number of elite jockeys, horses, and races that might be connected to these specific silks. Unfortunately, I was not able to confirm with certainty any specific horses, races or jockeys directly linked to it. Only that this is an actual set of race worn jockey silks associated with JUDDMONTE. The silks remains in well worn, race worn condition. Winning bidder pays 19.95 for U.S. priority sh/hand/ins.
