An old empty sherry wine bottle with a nice label which dates 1895 to 1900 as best I can figure.

This bottle was found in a crate tightly wrapped with hay along with other types of bottles.

Label reads " FROM THE CELEBRATED VINEYARDS OF LOS ANGELES CALIFORNIA" .

Clarke, Riley & Co. of 33 & 37 Commercial St. Boston was the distributor.

Label includes considerable detail - seated Goddess with bear and distant ship.

Bottle measures about 11"h with base diameter of 3.25" .

Cork does appear to be original.

Bottle was lightly dusted but not washed.

The glass is perfect.
