1976 1976 Royal Canadian Mint Specimen Double Dollar Presentation Set
Featuring the Library of Parliament Centennial Commemorative Silver Dollar with Sensational “Rainbow” Toning!
This set marks the centenary of the completion of Canada's iconic Library of Parliament (1876–1976) and has been preserved flawlessly in its original estate condition.
The Parliament obverse side of coin boasts incredible eye appeal with intense, deep color saturation that elevates it far above standard white examples. It is a prime candidate for professional grading (PCGS/NGC) for collectors who specialize in high-end toned Canadian numismatics. I would suggest sending in its original packaging and paying the extra fee, to avoid grading companies slapping a “questionable color,” on it.
I strongly recommend this process because I recently sent a few of my grandmother’s coins for grading directly out from the government packaging and unfortunately, I received a few coins back with the label “questionable color,” which was both heartbreaking and infuriating.
