This is a used ARRI Optical Flat for the ARRI 16BL Matte Box in great used condition. If you know what this is you probably need it. If you don’t, here’s the wiktionary.com definition:

(optics) A disk of high-quality quartz glass having at least one side ground and polished with a deviation in flatness less than 50 nanometers all over, and a surface quality of 5 microfinish or less; used, in an interferometer, to measure the flatness of other surfaces.”
Optical Flats are used to protect valuable lenses from the elements when shooting in difficult environmental locations like deserts. They are also employed as the shoot through window for still camera blimps used in sound stage photography. This optical flat measures 5.25 x 3.75 x 0.25in/13.335 x 9.525 x 0.635cm. The glass is clean and clear with a single tiny spot 3/16” from one edge near a corner. This spot will normally be covered by the mounting frame.
