Seiko Acier Gerald Genta 78-5191 Vintage Quartz Watch 15.5cm 6.1" Bracelet 1978

Description

Thank you for viewing! (*^^*)

This is the "Acier," a rare and legendary Seiko quartz watch from 1978.
Designed by Gérald Genta—known as the "Picasso of the watch world" and the creator of the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak—the Acier served as the foundation for the later high-end "Credor" line. Because the Acier line itself was absorbed into Credor after less than a year, individual pieces bearing the "Acier" name are exceptionally rare and valuable.

The watch features exquisite, flowing lines and meticulous attention to detail typical of the luxury timepieces of that era, including an "CASING IN SWITZERLAND" engraving on the case back and an onyx-adorned crown.
In terms of size, it is suitable for women or men with slender wrists (unisex).
