An antique English solid 15k gold fob (tests thereabouts, nearer 18k) seal, set with a good quality polished agate intaglio seal depicting the classical goddess Hera
A very pretty, wonderfully collectable fob - very wearable too!
CONDITION: All original and good. Some signs of wear commensurate with age and use, top ring an old lower carat replacement. Seal perfect.
DATE/MARKS: Around 1780/1800. Not marked.
DIMENSIONS: 20 mm tall overall, (1 inch = 25.4 mm). WEIGHT: Approx. 2.2 grams.
