This is a magnificent, large vintage Tokoname ware (Tokoname-yaki) clay bonsai pot featuring a powerful, deep round shape with elegant decorative feet.
It is finished in a stunning mottled light green glaze that displays wonderful soft tones, speckled textures, and an exquisite aged character.
The bottom features the authentic signature of Hotoku (法徳), a well-known name in the historic Tokoname bonsai pottery artisan community.
The generous depth and grand scale make it an exceptional choice for hosting a thick-trunked evergreen tree, a mature deciduous tree, or flowering specimens that are beautifully complemented by the natural green color palette.
