Up for sale is an exceptionally rare, highly coveted piece of vintage Disney Auctions history: the original Simba and Zazu "Sidekicks" series pin!
This stunning, heavy-weight collectible perfectly captures one of the most memorable musical moments from *The Lion King*. Designed with an intricate **pin-on-pin** dimensional element, the scene showcases an enthusiastic **Simba** pouncing directly over the pinned-down, long-suffering hornbill **Zazu**. Bound with high-polish gold plating and glossy enamel fills, this design was limited to a strict global edition size of **only 100 individual pieces**. Due to this microscopic production run, individual components from this classic partner array are considered ultra-rare and incredibly hard to find on the secondary market.
ELITE TRADING COLLECTION PROVENANCE: This premium piece is offered **loose** as a private archive collectible, sourced directly from a climate-controlled environment. It features glassy, flawless hard enamel fills, dual secure pin posts on a detailed gold back with the signature Disney Auctions auction-hammer waffle pattern, a clean hologram safety stamp, and complete corporate hallmarks. Shielded entirely from tarnish and display wear, it remains in spectacular condition. Please study the high-resolution images closely to evaluate all physical details and layout lines prior to purchase.

- •Box & Card Packaging Status: This pin is explicitly sold as a **Loose Pin**. It does not include separate backing cards or the original full-set display presentation boxes.
- •Archival Protective Packaging: Regardless of the pin type, every single item is safely stored and wrapped in an individual protective structure to prevent enamel scratches, guard delicate layered pin-on-pin edges, and secure your item safely during transit.
- •Vintage Condition Notice: While this item is in magnificent physical shape, please note that it is an ultra-rare vintage specialty release from 2005. Over the years, even carefully protected storage items can show minor factory variations or light natural aging on metal surfaces. I have done my best to capture its exact state under high-resolution studio lighting. If you require specialized macro angles of the backing plate text or posts, please reach out to me directly BEFORE completing your purchase.
