An excellent graduated collector's set of three original British-made force-feed oil cans.
These heavily built engineering oilers were a staple of British railways, historic workshops, and classic car garages.
Set Details and Approximate Sizes:
- Large Oiler: Features the distinctive pie-crust pattern along the upper edge rim and a long-reach curved spout.
- Medium Oiler: Classic teardrop shape with a thumb plunger mechanism and rear handle wrapper.
- Small Oiler: Compact handheld variant, finished with remnants of vintage green paint and a knurled filler cap.
Condition Report:
- Authentic Patina: Unrestored condition with a genuine aged dark finish, minor surface rust, dust, and historic oil residue.
- Mechanics: Filler lids, knurled caps, and plungers are present and intact. Moveable components function mechanically but the internal pumps are sold untested for leaks or pressure delivery.
- Status: Empty, although some residual oil remains.
- Spouts: Intact with minor age-related distortion or slight bends typical of tools used in active service.
