Product Name: Cylinder Filter Mesh with hose barb Joiner
Material: 304 Stainless Steel (Filter Mesh) | ABS Plastic (Thread Head) | Brass (Barbed Joiner)
Thread Type: 1/2" BSPP thread has an outer diameter of approximately 20mm
Barb Diameter: 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, 16mm, 19mm, 25mm
Features:
- The main joint body is made of thick solid brass, far tougher than thin plastic or cheap zinc alloy alternatives. Brass delivers outstanding anti-oxidation performance, resists scale buildup and minor chemical corrosion from irrigation fertiliser liquid, rainwater and pond water. The hexagonal shoulder allows easy gripping with pliers for secure hose installation without slipping.
- The top filtration cylinder adopts 304 stainless steel mesh, fully rust-proof even in damp outdoor or coastal salt-air environments. It efficiently blocks sand, fallen leaves, grit and algae before water enters your pump, preventing impeller scratching, pipeline clogging and expensive motor burnout.
- Cylindrical full surrounding mesh maximises the filtration surface area, minimising water suction resistance so your pump can run at full flow rate without cavitation or power loss.
Applications:
- Domestic garden booster pumps, submersible water pumps and portable water transfer pumps
- Rainwater harvesting storage tank suction hose lines and outdoor garden watering kits
- Greenhouse hydroponic nutrient irrigation and small livestock drinking water supply
- Fish ponds, koi tanks, large aquarium circulation pump pre-filtration
- Caravan, outdoor window cleaning and DIY fluid transfer equipment
Note:
1. This strainer is designed exclusively for pump suction inlet installation, DO NOT fit it on high-pressure pipeline outlets.
2. Push the hose fully onto the multi-groove brass barb to avoid water leakage during pumping.
3. Regularly flush the stainless steel mesh to prevent full blockage which will reduce pump output and shorten service life.
