The signal is in excellent condition. The only loss of paint is a tiny mark on the front of the pillar about half way up, another where the lever hits the pillar and a small amount around the top of the ladder. There is no corrosion. The lens holder which often suffers is immaculate. The signal operates as it should.
A super example of this signal.
The box, while having a 'distant' label attached is of the right type for this signal. There is some minor wear on the corners and on some edges. There is the odd minor 'dink' on an edge and in places some very minor creasing. The box is dated August 1955 and has a put into use date of January 1956.
