Penn Overseas II Inshore 9'10'' 30-60g 5-piece travel lure rod

Aimed at the Bass lure angler, and perfect for trips to the wild seas of Southwest Portugal or the Copper Coast. But the near 10 foot length and through action make it a flexible rod for the travelling angler generally – live baiting, saltwater float fishing, casting light leads from the beach or fishing a flying collar - all would be handled well.

Bought for a trip in August 2026, and used for one week only.

For sure it chucks and fishes 60g lures, but it also fishes lures well below 30g perfectly well if you need to. I think that 30-60g perhaps implies a slightly different rod to what this thing actually is and I think Max 60g would have made more sense as a rod rating. ”
