An attractive Georgian silver-gilt cayenne pepper spoon with a faceted cut-glass stopper and a good length stem.

The slender stem terminates in a small oval bowl, while the cut-glass stopper being fitted with a silver-gilt collar.

The stem bears the lion passant, date letter and George III duty head. No maker’s or assay office mark is present; the date letter aligns with the London date letter A for 1798 when paired with the kings head duty mark. This is a very nice item I hope you find of interest.

Length: approximately 11.4 cm (4½ inches), including the glass stopper.

Don't forget to look at the condition report above, it does reflect the good condition.
