Antique German porcelain demitasse cup and saucer featuring a Christkind/angel winter scene with cherub, comet star, and snowy village landscape. Beautiful textured porcelain with delicate gilt trim.

I believe this lovely little porcelain demitasse cup features the German Angel Christkind. Christkind is a traditional German Christmas gift-bringer believed to be the infant Jesus, but often depicted as an angelic figure.
