This is a listing for an HO / 1/87th scale EMD GP-9 Diesel Locomotive.Item is in Excellent condition. This is a custom model. Starting with a heavy diecast shell and it is fitted to an Athearn chassis and drivetrain. Item is unpainted. PLEASE NOTE: Previous owner did not utilize screws to mount the shell to the chassis. It is a friction fit only. He custom detailed and painted the unit for SP 3754 and added a Digitrax DCC control only decoder. It is NOT lighted. Does not come with any commercial packaging. When the unit was run on my test track it operated smoothly. Because of the diecast shell the loco is very heavy. Item is from an estate collection. Loco is approx. 7.50" long.
