Welcome to my listing.
This is an authentic Japanese ceramic suiban (water tray), featuring a classic rectangular design with an exceptionally shallow profile.
The interior showcases remnants of a beautiful light green glaze mixed with weathered textures, making it a wonderful display piece for traditional arrangements.
A suiban is highly valued by collectors for displaying suiseki (viewing stones), landscape miniature arrangements (Saikei), or water plants.
It provides an elegant and serene grounding for your artistic presentations.
Please note that this vintage item shows heavy signs of age and natural outdoor use, including paint/glaze peeling, distinct rust-like discoloration (sabi), and stains.
There is an artist mark (stamp) on the bottom, but it is currently unidentified/illegible.
Please look closely at all photos to confirm its condition before purchasing.
